 Preparation to the laser procedure

When preparing for Laser Hair Removal you should avoid:

* Tanning :being recently on holiday sun beds

* Waxing, plucking and bleaching 2-4 weeks before hair removal.

* Shaving two days before the treatment as hair follicles need to be visible.

* Putting cosmetics, lotions, creams and deodorant on the area before the treatment.

Feb 16, 2017 I have had facial hair throughout my teens and into my twenties. It had gotten so bad that when I would remove it with threading techniques my skin would blemish and scar and become prone to ingrowns. I tried IPL from another salon but it didn’t work. My sister heavily recommended ND Skin Clinic and after spending so much money on waxing and laser I wasn’t sure if I wanted to risk it again. But the scarring and the unwanted hair around my cheeks, chin and neck drove me to try one last place. I am so glad I did because after one session i had excellent results. Most of the hair hasn’t grown back and I’m only on my third session! I’m so ecstatic with the results it’s really changed my life. I have a customer facing job so I used to have to thread and pluck every morning which would not only make me late for work but it would also make my skin to bleed and scar and become prone to ingrowns. I used to cover the marks with foundation, wear my hair and cover my face with my hands when I used to have to talk to people so they wouldn’t notice the hair.
